Our Grass-Fed Beef is raised with no added growth hormones. Meat is whole not sliced individually in a plastic vacuumed sealed packages and sold by average weight.
What does it taste like? Believe it or not, beef tongue tastes similar to other cuts of beef. It has a milder flavor and is a fattier cut of meat.
Cooking Tips:
- Wash the cow tongue
- Place the tongue in the stock pot with the seasonings and enough water to cover
- Cover and simmer the cow tongue for 2-3 hours
- Chill the tongue in an ice bath until just cool enough to handle and peel immediately
- Slice and serve hot or chill and serve cold
